OnlyFans marketing plan for your first 90 days

A good OnlyFans marketing plan for the first 90 days has three stages: set up a profile and price that convert in month one, build traffic on two channels in month two, and add shoutout swaps and message campaigns in month three. Each stage builds on the last, so the order matters more than speed.

Below is the plan step by step, with what to do each week, what to measure and what to skip until later.

Decide three things before day one

Your niche in one sentence

Write one sentence that says who your page is for and what makes it different. For example, a cozy gamer next door, or a fitness creator who posts behind the scenes of training. This sentence guides your bio, your photos and which communities you post in.

Face or no face

Decide now if you will show your face. Both work, but the choice changes which channels and subreddits fit you. If you want to stay private, read how to promote OnlyFans anonymously before you set up any accounts.

Hours per week

Be honest about how much time you can give to promotion. Two channels done well beat five channels done badly. If you have less than five hours a week for marketing, start with Reddit only.

Build a page that converts in days 1 to 30

Traffic is wasted if the page does not turn visitors into subscribers. Month one is about the page itself.

Week 1 is for your profile

  • Choose a profile picture and banner that show your niche at a glance.
  • Write a bio of two or three short lines. Say what fans get and how often you post.
  • Post 15 to 25 items before you promote, so a new subscriber sees a full page.

Week 2 sets your price

Start with a subscription price that matches your niche and how much you post. Many new creators start low and raise the price as the page fills up. A welcome discount for the first month can help, but set an end date so it does not become your normal price.

Week 3 builds your link in bio funnel

Set up one link in bio page that points to your OnlyFans and any other place fans can follow you. Use OnlyFans tracking links so you can see which channel each subscriber came from. Without tracking, you will guess in month two instead of knowing.

Week 4 warms up your accounts

Create your Reddit and X accounts with the same name as your page. Spend this week commenting and posting without links, so the accounts look real and earn trust before you promote.

Build traffic on two channels in days 31 to 60

Pick two channels instead of five

For most adult creators, Reddit and X are the best first pair, because both allow adult content within their rules. Reddit brings people who search by interest. X helps fans keep up with you and builds repeat visits. Our full guide on how to promote OnlyFans on Reddit covers the Reddit side in detail.

Set a daily routine

  • Reddit: two to six posts a day across a list of 20 to 40 subreddits that fit your niche.
  • X: two to four posts a day, plus replies to creators and fans in your niche.
  • Once a week: check which subreddits and posts bring the most clicks on your tracking links.

What to measure in month two

Measure clicks and new subscribers per channel, not likes. A post with fewer upvotes that brings ten clicks is worth more than a viral post that brings none. Drop the subreddits that remove your posts or bring nothing after three weeks.

Add SFS and messages in days 61 to 90

Start shoutout swaps

With a steady page and some traffic, you are now a good SFS partner. SFS means shoutout for shoutout: you promote another creator's page to your fans and they promote yours. Pick partners in a similar niche and of similar size. Our OnlyFans SFS guide explains how to find partners and set fair terms.

Run your first message campaigns

Mass messages and PPV (pay per view) messages are where many pages earn a large share of their income. Start with one campaign every two weeks. Pick a segment, such as new subscribers or fans who have not opened a message in a while, write a short message and set a fair price.

Run one price test

Change one thing, such as the subscription price or a promo, and leave it for at least two weeks. Then compare new subscribers and renewals with the two weeks before.

What to leave out of the first 90 days

Too many channels at once

Instagram and TikTok can help later, but they do not allow adult content, so promotion there has to be safe for work and indirect. That takes a separate content plan. Add them after Reddit and X run on their own. When you are ready, read about how to promote OnlyFans on TikTok and Instagram.

Buying traffic or followers

Bought followers, bought upvotes and bot traffic break platform rules and do not subscribe. They also make your accounts look fake to moderators and to real fans.

Changing everything every week

If you change your price, bio and channels in the same week, you cannot tell what worked. Change one thing at a time and give it time.

Repeat what works after day 90

At the end of the plan you know which channels, subreddits, partners and messages bring fans. Write that down as your routine and repeat it. Every month, review the numbers, drop one thing that does not work and test one new thing.

Questions about an OnlyFans marketing plan

How long does it take to see results from an OnlyFans marketing plan?

Most creators need several weeks before steady traffic builds, because new accounts must earn trust on each platform first. Results depend on your niche, content and time, so no one can promise a number.

Which channel should I start with?

For adult creators, Reddit is usually the best first channel because it allows adult content in NSFW subreddits and people browse by interest. X is a good second channel.

Should I start with a low subscription price?

Many new creators start lower and raise the price as the page fills with content. Test one price change at a time and compare new subscribers and renewals.

When should I start doing SFS?

Start SFS once your page has a steady stream of content and some subscribers, usually in the second or third month. Partners want to swap with pages that look active.
